GA Industries Figures 955SS All Stainless Steel Dual Body Combination Air Valves consist of a small orifice sewage air release valve factory piped to a large orifice sewage air & vacuum valve. The large orifice vents air from pipelines and systems as they are being filled with water and then closes tight once the system is full and pressurized but will automatically open to admit air to limit vacuum formation due to pipeline draining or any negative pressure condition such as column separation. The small orifice valve releases air and sewage gas that accumulates in the valve while the system is operational.
The Figure 955SSL provides a larger orifice for faster release air and gas on systems operating at 75 PSI or lower.
Figure 955SSF includes optional “back flushing attachments” to facilitate cleaning sludge and debris from the valve.
