GA Industries 8” to 24” Series 800 ANSI buried service butterfly valves meet the requirements of AWWA C504 Pressure Class 150B and 250B and are NSF-61 certified for contact with drinking water. They are available with Mechanical Joint or ANSI Class 125 ends.The valves are rugged, versatile and dependable valves routinely used in water filtration plants, pumping stations, pipelines and power plants to isolate equipment or systems.
Series 800 butterfly valves are standard with a high strength ductile iron body with a molded and vulcanized Buna-N or EPDM rubber seat.The disc is also ductile iron with a 316 stainless steel seat edge that seals against the rubber seat in the body.The valves shut off drop tight in both directions at both low and high pressure.
Sizes 8” to 24” Series 800 buried service AWWA butterfly valves are standard with a traveling nut manual actuator rated for 450 ft-lb input torque against the stops with a 2” operating nut. Electric motor and pneumatic actuation are also available.
